Description

St Mary's Church, also known as St Mary's Charterhouse, was founded in 1858. The building was bombed in 1940 during the Second World War, and in the 1950s the parish was reunited with St Luke's, and St Mary's was demolished. It stood on Playhouse Yard, now Fortune Street.
