Description

St Luke's Church was built 1873-75. It was damaged in 1940 during the London Blitz, and subsequently repaired and reconstructed in 1960. It was deconsecrated in 1985, and closed in 1997. It was later converted to a community centre and health centre. This image shows the building with the windows boarded up, presumably following the damage during the Second World War.
