Description

The figure on carved on the capital is beaded and wears a tunic, with his arms raised holding a sceptre or flower and a stick. A curved stem on each face is carved from the lower outer edge towards the top inner angle. On the north face, a lion ascends the stem and on the west face, shown in this photograph, a griffon ascends the stem.
