Description

The arcading creates eleven areas, with four containing carvings of figures, and the rest decorative foliage and scrolls. On the east end of the font is a depiction of the Crucifxion, with the Virgin Mary and St John on either side and surrounded by a circular band which cuts across the standing figures. The church dates to the 14th and 15th centuries with restoration work having been completed in 1868-69 bu W. Slater.
