Description

Exterior view of the south side of the church, with the two towers over each of the transepts in the background. The furthest tower is over the north transept, and the parapet and spire with weathervane is visible over the nave roof. To the left is the south tower, a square tower with parapets and a clock face on the east side, just under the three windows on the top stage. The church has been built to resemble Exeter Cathedral, seen with the two towers, and has a Lady Chapel. The roof has pendants, as seen on the apex of the nave roof. The church was consecrated by Bishop Bronescombe in 1260 and was a Collegiate Church from 1337 to 1545 when it was dissolved.
