The photographer’s notes state: ‘View of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the River Avon, Clifton in general and Hotwells by the river from a point on a footpath between Ashton Swing Bridge and Clifton Bridge Station. The houses of Windsor Terrace form a prominent feature to the right of the Suspension Bridge.'
