Description
The photographer’s notes state: ‘Redland Green, looking north. Redland Green farmhouse in the distance. Smoke of bonfire in near distance. Frost on the road. The wall on the right borders the garden of the Bishop's Palace. By 1949 a lot of small houses were now standing along the further side of a ravine beyond the farmhouse, being on Metford Road.'
