Description

This image is one of a set showing the 9th World Scout Jamboree which was held in Sutton Park between 1st and 12th August 1957. Over 33,000 people camped at the site, with an additional 17,000 British scouts camping within a short distance, bringing the daily total of participants to c50,000.
