Description

The house to the right is now known as Vintage Cottage at 17 Rose Lane. It dates from the 15th century and was originally built as a hall house. In the late 19th century a shop front extenstion was added to right of Vintage Cottage obscuring some of the building seen here. The timber framed house to the left has been demolished, its site now being occupied by a more modern house.
