The south side of Harmondsworth Barn, also known as Manor Farm Tithe Barn, a large twelve-bay late thirteenth or early fourteenth century timber-framed barn. This view shows the barn from the gateway leading to the High Street.

Description

The barn once belonged to the Abbey of Winchester and has been celebrated for centuries as a surviving example of exceptional medieval carpentry and architecture. Records show that the barn was constructed by medieval carpenter, William Kyppynge.
