Detailed view of the entrance and central bay of the house, showing the arched porch, Phelips' coat of arms in a diamond-shaped plaque and some of the hearldic beast figures. Each firgure is on a short pillar, some of which are squared while others have a twisted pattern. The west elevation was added by Edward Phelips between 1785-87. The house is now owned by the National Trust.
