Description

A view of the south side of the Outer Gatehouse a two-storey structure, with octagonal turrets of two stages flanking either side of the double doors, and a crest and square window above the entrance. The south range extends to the east and west, with the west side having restorative work completed in 1913. On the eastern end are two external chimney stacks with stepped buttresses towards the top, and the whole range and turrets are topped with an embattled parapet. In the foreground is apart of the garden, with a drive leading around to the door.
