Description

Mill Bank stands on a raised pavement facing the Mill Avon just above the Abbey Mill, a wash house stands on this pavement to the left, next to a pump, this has since been demolished. Number 5, with dormer window, is partly seen behind the wash house. To the right are the brick frontages of numbers 14 and 15 Mill Street. The ruinous state of the raised pavement marks this out as an early photograph. It was given an engineering brick retaining wall early in the 20th century.
