This is a photograph of an image printed in a book. It is believed that the image was photographed by PEW Street c1920-1950
This negative is of the same photograph that is shown in BB71/09471.
The photographer's notes state: 'Copy. Same view as above from S.S.W. (From an illustration in "Orpington from Saxon Times to the Great War", published 1919, from a photo taken by Mr Harchild of Sherlies probably in the late 1890's)'.
There is an additional note for the site stating: 'This mill & its buildings were demolished Feb-May 1935'.
