The photographer's notes state: 'Lamorbey House. Flower, fruit and kitchen garden, looking north from the south lawn. The path in the centre led to the east front of the house. Top of the house in distance'.
Lamorbey House was located on the south side of Halfway Street, close to the corner with Old Farm Road East. It was demolished between 1936 and 1937.
