The photographer's notes state: 'The house and the south lawn from S.W. Hornbeam on right'.
There is also an additional note stating: 'Twysdens was half demolished in 1940, completely gone before 1948'.
The area which the house occupied, on the south-east side of Cray Road, is now the site of a Coca-Cola factory.
