The photographer's notes state: The backs of Nos 90 (left, behind tree), 92, 94 & 96 on right (hidden by tree). High Street west side. River Cray in the foreground. Beautiful phloxes (pink chiefly) in the left garden'.
There is also an additional note stating: 'all very badly damaged by enemy action on April 16. 1941'.
The buildings have since been demolished.
