Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Looking N. to the garage along the path bordered by the great yew hedge along the High Street. The house and the 2 lofty horse-chestnuts at the back of the garage'.

Effingham Lodge was located on the west side of the High Street, opposite the Rookery and to the south of Spring Hall. It was demolished some time after the Second World War.
