Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Distant view of the house etc. from the same field. East Hall Cottages are the group on the distant horizon on the extreme left. Fine old oak on the right, just in front of the high group of elm trees'.

There is also an additional note stating: 'The house, the bakehouse and the old cottage were all very badly damaged in an air raid in Sept. 1940, and were demolished later'.

The site of the house is now known as Green Cedars.
