This is a photograph of an image printed in a book. It is believed that the image was photographed by PEW Street c1920-1950.
The photographer's notes state: 'Copy. "Old Houses in Orpington" (from S.W.) an illustration in F. Chenevix Trench's book "The Story of Orpington" 1897'.
There is an additional note for the site stating: 'These two dwellings were demolished in Oct 1938, after having been saved more than once'.
