Description

Sir Edward Letchworth was Grand Secretary until at least 1907. The original Grand Lodge building was designed by Thomas Sandby RA and was completed in 1776. This building was subsequently enlarged and enhanced during the 1860s by Frederick Pepys Cockerill, but was demolished and replaced with the current Art Deco building in the 1930s.
