Description

This house was built for the barrister John Pym in 1724. Between 1799-1832 it became the principal training academy for young men joining the Nonconformist Presbyterian ministry. In 1880 it once more became a house and this photograph, one of a series, was taken for James W Courtenay who was residing here.
