Description

These commercial offices date from 1891-5 when the first block, designed by Alfred Waterhouse, was built on the corner of Whitworth Street and Oxford Street. The second block carried out in 1910-12 by his son Paul Waterhouse was photographed by Bedford Lemere. The third block was added in 1932 and in 1996 the building was converted in to the Palace Hotel.
