Description

St John's Hospital for Diseases of the Skin was founded in 1863 with this building opening in 1895. The Annie Zunz Ward is named after the wife of German iron merchant, Siegfried Rudolf Zunz, who left money in his will for the building of several London hospital wards to be named after his wife. This photograph was taken for Street & Co.
