This building was erected in 1888-9 and was designed by architects Christopher and White for Giacomo and Battista Monico who also had premises at 46 Regent Street. The photograph was taken for Leeds Fireclay Co, specialists in architectural ceramics, and whose Burmantofts buff-coloured terracotta was used to clad the front.
