Description

The hotel was designed by W C Ansell, and after his death, Henry Tanner junior and F J Wills. The construction of the hotel started in 1912 and it opened in 1915. The photograph is from a batch of six, four of which were commissioned by Leeds Fireclay Company who supplied the 'Burmantofts Marmo' faience cladding on the exterior of the building.
