Description

Waring and Gillows, the noted furniture makers, had two premises on Fleet Street in Liverpool amongst their nationwide portfolio of buildings, but these images seem to show the larger premises at 20-28 Fleet Street. During the First World War, Waring and Gillow's works were requisitioned for the war effort, and these images show the aircraft frame workshops.
