In 1923 the London City & Midland Bank became the Midland Bank. By 1925, following the renumbering of Old Broad Street, the address of this building was 120 Old Broad Street, premises of the Midland Bank. The photograph is one of a series taken for the General Electric Company, probably to illustrate the electric lighting.
