Description

The photograph was commissioned by the Leathersellers' Company, a Royal Livery Company whose Hall was in St Helen's Place. The buildings here pictured were subsequently demolished and a large classical style building was constructed in 1928 to the designs of Mewes and Davis, incorporating the entrance to St Helen's Place.
