Description

Fairmile Hatch was acquired by London County Council in 1948 and converted into a nursery. It was demolished to accommodate the Burleigh Park residential housing estate. This photograph was taken for Colonel George Haward Trollope, who was chairman of Trollope and Sons and Colls and Sons (known as Trollope and Colls) builders, decorators and furnishers from 1910 until his retirement in 1924.
