Description
This photograph is one of a set taken for Herbert E Robbins Limited who had offices on the sixth floor of Aldwych House. The 1925 Kelly's London Directory describes their business as 'calculating machine makers', and the company had the sole concession in the United Kingdom for Felt & Tarrant Manufacturing Company Comptometers. Some of the photographs show a classroom with rows of Comptometer calculating machines.
