The photograph is part of a set commissioned by architect J J Joass. They may have been taken as a record of Swan House, subsequently replaced by an extension to the Institute of Chartered Accountants building in Moorgate which was designed by J J Joass and built in 1930. In 1925, Swan House had been the offices for a number of stockbrokers.
