Description

Tangley Park, later Tangley Place, was built in 1872. During the mid 20th century it was converted for use as a convalescent home and in 1958 was taken over by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries who developed a field station in the grounds. The house was abandoned in 1996 and fell into dereliction.
