The South Western Hotel was built by the London & South Western Railway for passengers using the Southampton Terminus railway station and also for passengers sailing to and from Southampton. The building was renamed South Western House and converted to office space after the Second World War. It was later converted into flats at the end of the 20th century. The photograph is part of a set taken for B Cohen & Sons, furniture manufacturers.
