Description

The County Hall was built in 1935-1939. The building's final design was the result of an architectural competition. The design shown in this photograph won third prize; the competition was won by James and Bywaters and Rowland Pierce. The same design is also shown in CC47/00671-CC47/00674 and CC47/00676-CC47/00677.
