Description

This image is reproduced as Plate LXXXI in 'The Gardens of England: The Northern Counties', edited by Charles Holme, 1911. Londesborough Hall was originally built in the 16th century. It was demolished and a new house built in the 19th century. This gateway was the entrance gateway to the Elizabethan building.
