Lord Roberts (later renamed Bilsdale) was built in 1900 for the Great Yarmouth Steam Tug Company and ran local excursions from Yarmouth and Lowestoft. After the First World War she came into the ownership of the Furness Shipbuilding Company. By 1925 she had been sold to the Crosthwaite Steamship Company of Middlesbrough, was renamed Bilsdale and ran local pleasure excursions out of Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
She made her last trip on Monday 17th September 1934.
