Description

The St William Window contains scenes from the life of St William and miracles associated with his tomb. Some of the panels, like this one, depict disabled people and people affected by illnesses visiting St William's tomb. Others depict miracles as a result of these visits. Alternative titles for this panel include terms used to describe disabilities and illnesses which are no longer considered acceptable.
