Photographer's note: 'Rim and shoulders of a Type C/12 vessel with lugs for string or metal handle from House 6 (Excavated by Croft Andrew between 5-7 May 1938. From depression under the partition between 6H and 6F artificial partition created in clearing and reconstruction of room). English Heritage, accession number 81440150'.
