Description

Photographer's note: 'Copper alloy and gold plate with (glass?) amethyst stones set into it. Likely to be Victorian in date and possibly a sentimental piece or love token. The clasp probably caught together the two ends of a large chain link bracelet and may have been lost by an early visitor to the romantic ruin that Old Sherborne Castle had become.'
