Photographer's note: '... conveyor 40 A and B to junction house 41 with junction house 66 to right... A vast area for the stocking, blending and transportation of raw materials required for the iron making process which were unloaded from the adjacent Redcar ore terminal. These would include coal, iron, lime, dolomite and bauxite.'
