Description

Photographer's note: 'Sinter formed 80% of the burden for the blast furnace, primarily: iron ore, coke, limestone and burnt lime. The sinter plant processed (mixed, baked, crushed and cooled) these materials to form nodules of a consistent size to form the burden.'
