Description

Photographer's note: 'Lock of hair of Thomas Beaufort, Duke of Exeter who died c.1426 and was buried at Bury St Edmunds. Workmen discovered his grave in 1772 which is presumably when this locket bearing his coat of arms was made to contain a piece of his hair.'
