East Beach is home to a number of former railway carriages converted into holiday accommodation in the early 20th century. Some survive whilst others have been replaced by modern sea-front homes. The location of this bungalow is not known, but it is probably part of the Park Estate, either on East Beach Road, Park Copse, Park Lane, Park Road, Drift Road, Park Crescent or Newfield Road. It may be 153 East Beach Road, which was replaced by a modern dwelling in the early 21st century.
