Description

The aerial view of the Saladin Citadel of Cairo, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, was taken at 3000ft on 6th December 1918. The date of the view of the Old City of Jerusalem is unknown, although it was probably taken at around the same date. It shows the Dome of the Rock Mosque in the top right hand corner.
