Description

The following is written of the reverse of the drawing 'The Gun House, St James's Park, sold by auction, February 2nd 1886. Spring Gardens Terrace - Removed for construction of new Admiralty Buildings. The bronze gun which gave its name to the house was removed to the Horse Guards'.

The drawing also depicts details of the door hood and gutter-pipes used on the building.
