Description

St John the Baptist's church is possibly of 12th century origin but the earliest part of the present church is the base of the north arcade which dates to around 1233. A print of this image appears in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Danbury. This image is printed in the Inventory volume Essex IV-South East.
