The illustration was produced for the exhibition 'Revealing Helmsley'.

This is one of a series of drawings showing the development of the longhouse from the late medieval period. In this drawing a smokehood has been added to the structure. See IC050/017and IC050/019 - IC050/025 for the other phases of development.
