Description

In this reconstruction, the castle is shown with an outer circuit of defensive walls added. The dam has been raised to hold back the mere and the outwork of the Brays has been constructed. This illustration was reproduced on pages 40-41 of the 2006 English Heritage guidebook for Kenilworth Castle. This image may also have appeared in an exhibition at the site.
