Description

Illustration IC054/005 shows a scene as it may have appeared from a similar viewpoint in the Great Hall in circa 1619, although judging by the costumes of the people depicted and by the changes of decor in the hall itself, this illustration appears to depict the middle decades of the seventeenth century.
